Seahorse

Aug 4, 2011

This one’s made from a single sample set, the lovely ‘Seahorse’ by Tonehammer, part of their ‘Microhammer’ subdivision. It’s entirely composed of samples made by plucking, striking, scraping and otherwise manipulating a “unique, manually chiseled hanging metallic seahorse… spawned from carbon-infused sheet metal.”

  1. beauty. childhood playing in the sunshine beams of the bedroom. seahorse dancing deep under the waves. metal flower petals tossing and falling to the ground. continuous somersaults with brother and sister on the grass at the park. riding the rusty, mechanics of the carousel. one more time around.
